Springville, NY – May 13^th, 2024- The Springville Country Club was the center of excitement and generosity on Monday, May 13^th, the Bertrand Chaffee Hospital Foundation hosted its Annual Garden Party. This year’s event Spotlighted the outstanding work of the Heart Center at BCH, and it was a success, thanks to the support of our generous sponsors and attendees.

In attendance were all of the dedicated employees of the Heart Center, along with the cardiologists, Dr. Smith and Dr. Haq, who tirelessly serve our community with their expertise and compassion. 

The guests enjoyed a delightful cocktail hour accompanied by the enchanting tunes of Tyler George, setting the stage for an evening of celebration and great company. The dinner was wonderful and was complemented by a fantastic dessert bar provided by the talented ladies of the American Legion Auxiliaries from both Arcade and Concord.

A poignant highlight of the evening was a heartfelt testimonial from a longtime patient whose life was transformed by the care received at the Heart Center. His touching words underscored the invaluable impact of the center on individuals and families in our community.

Their tireless efforts ensure that patients receive the highest quality care close to home, making a difference when it matters most.

Medicare’s Nursing Home Compare evaluates nursing homes based on three key metrics: Health Inspections, Quality Measures (QMs), and Staffing. Quality Measures (QMs) assess various aspects of resident care, including pain management, mobility, and activities of daily living. Our dedicated staff works tirelessly to address the individual needs and preferences of each resident, resulting in superior outcomes and overall satisfaction.

Bertrand Chaffee Hospital Foundation’s Garden Party to Spotlight the Heart Center at BCH

Springville, NY – April 26, 2024 – The Bertrand Chaffee Hospital Foundation is gearing up for its Annual Garden Party, set to take place on Monday, May 13, at the Springville Country Club. This year, the Foundation shines a spotlight on the Heart Center at BCH. This outpatient clinic, nestled within Bertrand Chaffee Hospital, offers consultations and advanced cardiac testing for a range of heart conditions. Collaborating seamlessly with prominent cardiologists from Buffalo, including those at the Gates Vascular Institute (GVI), the Heart Center ensures access cutting-edge care for our community. Among the dedicated team members are Dr. Nadeem Haq and Dr. Thomas Smith, alongside our very own Lauralee Sprague, NP-C, who provides compassionate care right here in our community.

The Garden Party serves as the BCH Foundation’s primary fundraising event, with all proceeds this year dedicated to the Heart Center. Scheduled from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm, the event will feature musical entertainment, a silent auction, and a basket raffle.
