Bertrand Chaffee Hospital’s ability to adapt to changes in healthcare has been a key part of our success over the past decade. Our recruitment of physicians and providers has allowed us to add and strengthen services. You can be a part of that success. Our CEO and leadership team are always interested in speaking with medical professionals who have an interest in rural healthcare.

Springville is close enough to the Buffalo-Niagara metropolitan area to access cultural, retail, sports and entertainment opportunities of a major city. But we’re far enough in the country to capture that rural, close-knit, small-town feel.

We are a 40-minute drive to downtown Buffalo, just under two hours to Rochester and just under three hours to Toronto. Buffalo is served by an international airport and rail and bus service.

The village of Springville is a regional shopping and commerce center that serves residents from southern Erie, northern Cattaraugus and Wyoming Counties. Its proximity to popular east-west and north-south highways (U.S. Route 219, NY 39 and NY 16) makes our community a major transit point.

Ski slopes, state and county parks, and beautiful natural settings are short drives away.

Are you interested in continuing your medical career with a growing facility? Contact our CEO at bchceo@bch-jbr.org. We are interested in speaking to qualified physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, registered nurses and other clinical specialists.
