Respiratory Therapists provide treatment, evaluation, monitoring and management of patients with breathing disorders or cardiovascular problems.
Our Respiratory Department offers a full range of services including:
- Mechanical Ventilation;
- Aerosol Therapy;
- EKG Monitoring;
- Holter Monitoring;
- Arterial Blood Gasses;
- Pulmonary Function Testing.
Who Can Benefit?
Respiratory Therapists treat all types of patients ranging from infants, in which the lungs are fragile and my not be fully developed, to the elderly with lung disease. They provide temporary relief to patients with chronic asthma or emphysema as well as emergency care to victims of heart attach, stroke or trauma.
