On Thursday, February 24, 2011, the first meeting of the Friends of Bertrand Chaffee Hospital and Jennie B. Richmond Nursing Home took place. The attendees received valuable information on services and events that are happening at the hospital and nursing home. There were dramatizations performed that depicted scenes that happen in physician offices everyday. These "skits" demonstrated to everyone that all patients have a choice in which they receive their healthcare. It is very important that patients voice their preference to have services performed at Bertrand Chaffee Hospital and Jennie B. Richmond Nursing Home when possible.
On Wednesday, June 8, 2011 we had our second meeting of the Friends of Bertrand Chaffee Hospital and Jennie B. Richmond Home. It was a great meeting with many new faces!
Bertrand Chaffee Hospital and Jennie B. Richmond Nursing Home continue to make improvements to serve this community with high quality healthcare and long term care. Our hope is that committee members will open up the channels of communication regarding all the good things your hospital and nursing home are uniquely capable of bringing to this community. As a representative of your organization, you will be able to bring this information back to your members and to the community as a whole, strengthening the critical bond between the community and its local caregivers.
